The broad specialization of the major provides opportunities for work in all areas of industry and science.

The admission requirements for students are in accordance with the rules of TU - Sofia. The difference from other specialties is the knowledge of English, which is confirmed by a suitable certificate or an entrance exam.

During the first two years, core disciplines for engineering education are studied. Specialized disciplines in the three main directions follow. The training concludes with the development and defense of a diploma project.

All successfully completed bachelor's degree holders can continue their studies in a master's degree in the same specialty or in another specialty at TUS (under certain conditions).
